Taking the tests has had a huge impact on my learning. It has pushed me to really ramp up my chazarah, and as a result I feel more connected with my learning than ever before. I am a diplomat working at the U.S. Embassy in Abuja, Nigeria... I have a daily commute for about 30 minutes each way on the Embassy's shuttle to the Embassy from our compound, which gives me a chance to go over the daf at least twice during the week. Thanks to the app, with several rebbeim's shiurim, I started learning Nach Yomi for the afternoon trips when the cycle restarted last month. Overall, I like the Daf Hashavua set up because it keeps you moving through the mesechta but not at a pace that if you miss a day you will fall behind. I like that it gives me what to talk about at the Shabbos table... the mareh mekomos on the app are helpful.

We went to Maran Rav Chaim Kanievsky [about starting Daf Hashavua] and he gave us a big bracha. He said "Al a endkin" 51 years to finish, "al a endkin," so we started!

Here is my test for daf 5. Your program is giving me such a sipuk I cannot thank you enough. Some 2nd-grade boys came into my office and saw me taking this test. They asked me what I was doing. I told them I am taking a test. They were amazed! You also take tests you don't just give them!
